How much does EM8 Connect cost?

Is the data really unlimited?
Yes. There are no data tiers, caps or overage charges — the same flat price whether the site trickles panel signals or uploads CCTV footage all day.
Do I need a static IP SIM to access equipment remotely?
No — that's exactly what EM8 Connect replaces. Every router gets its own permanent address on our em8.online domain, and remote access to the equipment behind it is set up as port forwards in the portal. No static IP SIM premiums, no dynamic DNS, no router configuration on site.
How is it installed?
The router arrives already assigned to your customer and pre-configured. On site you power it up and plug the NVR, panel or device into it — it comes online in the portal by itself with its permanent address ready to use.
What can I connect to it?
Anything that speaks IP: CCTV NVRs and cameras, intruder and fire panels, access control, ANPR, kiosks — if it works on a normal network, it works behind EM8 Connect.
How do I know if a site goes offline?
Every router checks in with the EM8 Portal constantly. If a site drops, it shows offline in the portal with its last-seen time — so you find out before the customer does, not weeks later.
Can I manage everything myself?
Yes. Your routers appear on your EM8 Connect page in the portal — the same login as Surveillance Guardian and the rest of the EM8 platform — where you can see status and manage remote access without touching the hardware.
