Pocket Wilds Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 October 2026

Pocket Wilds is developed and provided by Craig Wright (“we”, “us” or “our”).

We respect your privacy. This policy explains how information is handled when you play Pocket Wilds or contact us.

1. Information collected during gameplay

Pocket Wilds is an offline game. You do not need to create an account or provide personal information to play.

We do not collect or transmit your personal information through gameplay. The game does not include advertising networks, third-party analytics or tracking tools.

2. Game progress and device storage

Pocket Wilds stores your game progress and preferences locally on your device so you can continue playing between sessions.

This information is not sent to our servers, and we cannot access your saved game.

Your device’s operating system may include app data in a device backup, depending on your settings. Such backups are managed by your device or backup provider, rather than by us.

Deleting the app’s stored data removes your local progress. On some devices, fully uninstalling the game also removes this information. Restoring a device backup may restore previously saved data.

3. Advertising and purchases

Pocket Wilds does not display third-party advertising or offer in-app purchases.

We do not collect payment card details. Any payment to download the game is handled by the app store under its own terms and privacy policy.

4. Device permissions

Pocket Wilds does not require access to your contacts, precise location, camera, microphone or photo library.

The game uses ordinary device features, such as audio and vibration, to provide sounds and haptic feedback.

5. App stores and platform services

Apple, Google and other platform providers may process information when you download, update, review or use apps through their services. Depending on your platform settings, this may include purchase records or diagnostic information.

Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies. This policy describes our handling of information within Pocket Wilds and when you contact us.

6. Contacting us

If you contact us for support, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message and any attachments.

We use this information to respond to your enquiry and resolve problems. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in providing support and maintaining the game.

7. Children’s privacy

Pocket Wilds is designed to be family-friendly. Children can play without providing a name, email address or other personal information.

We do not collect children’s personal information through gameplay or use advertising or behavioural tracking.

Parents and guardians should contact us themselves where support is needed and avoid sending unnecessary personal information about a child.

8. Sharing and security

We do not sell personal information.

Information you provide when contacting us is shared only where necessary to deliver support, with service providers acting on our behalf, or where disclosure is required by law.

We use appropriate safeguards to protect information we hold. No method of electronic storage or communication can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your privacy rights

Where we hold personal information about you, such as support correspondence, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and to object to certain processing. These rights depend on the circumstances and applicable law.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We cannot retrieve local game progress because we do not receive or hold it.

You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/ or to your local data protection authority.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Pocket Wilds develops. The date above shows when it was last updated. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel.
